Designed for flat silhouettes from the first sketch. That is the whole idea.
September 2024. Mastectomy. I watched my sister go through reconstruction, the pain, the complications, and I chose a different path. I chose to go flat. What I didn't expect was the challenge that came after: getting dressed. My husband and I planned a trip to Mexico, and I couldn't find a swimsuit. Everything assumed I wanted to hide, pad, or reconstruct. I just wanted to feel like myself at the beach. I couldn't find it. So we built it.
